Denis Forest is Professor at the University of Paris 1 and member of the Institute of History and Philosophy of Sciences and Techniques ( IHPST ) since 2017.
​
He is particularly interested in the philosophy and history of neuroscience, and the philosophy of medicine and psychiatry.
His latest work, Neuroscepticism: the brain sciences under the epistemologist's scalpel (Paris, Ithaque, 2014) combines philosophy of science and philosophy of mind, through an examination of the nature and scope of recent work. in cognitive neuroscience.
In 2021, he also edited the collective volume Defining mental disorder .
