Héloïse Athéa

Science and philosophy have long sparked my curiosity and enthusiasm.

Motivated by this dual passion, I pursued parallel studies in both fields, earning bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biology and philosophy.

I later completed a Ph.D., where I had the opportunity to continue engaging with both disciplines. My dissertation explored the epistemological challenges of modeling psychiatric disorders in basic neuroscience.

Currently, I’m a postdoctoral fellow in a research team at the Institut Gustave Roussy, where I continue to work at the intersection of biology and philosophy.
